About

About Me

McKenna Turner is a 19-year-old performer whose passion for musical theater is matched by her commitment to craft. With a foundation in acting, voice, and dance, she brings dynamic presence and emotional depth to every role she takes on. Her training includes four years in the Nordhoff High School drama department under the direction of John Hoj and Tracey Williams, as well as vocal study in chamber choir with Bill Wagner and dance training at Starlight Dance Academy.

McKenna's stage credits showcase her versatility across both musical theater and straight plays. Favorite roles include Fantine in Les Misérables, Georgia Hendricks in Curtains, and Nick Bottom in Something Rotten. She’s equally at home in classical works like Trojan Women and voice acting projects such as The War of the Worlds, demonstrating a wide emotional range and command of character.

A student of the Uta Hagen and Stanislavski methods, McKenna is especially drawn to character-driven storytelling and the detailed process of script exploration. Her acting style shines in both lead dramatic roles and comedic performances, where she brings timing, presence, and depth.

With additional experience in California All-State and Honor Choirs and the Ojai Youth Opera, McKenna continues to grow as a well-rounded artist ready to take on the next stage with passion, professionalism, and heart.
